Down Deep Darkness

I drop

and that is all

that is happening

to me

and I find it beautiful

my mind cleansed

and free

and air becomes

my element

enclosing me

in its invisible hands

of love

and I am so happy

I am suddenly

released to the night

and I sing out in gratitude

I kiss the moon

and touch the stars

all around me

for this life

for this beating heart

in my body

and now I dance

I am ecstatic

I embrace

the future

and I look at death

in the eyes

and we hold

each other

and sway

like lovers

till I fall

into its arms

and die.

Birds Are Dropping Bombs

on us

from the sky

trees kick us

as we run by

and we are dying

in droves

as all animals

open fire at us

and the blood

and the shrieking

is just insane

making the firmament

laugh like a devil

spitting flames

on the world

and then the air

just stops

and the few of us

who remain

fall down dead.

We Teach Our Children

all the wrong things

and then they begin

to get scared and hate

what terrible times

we create

what is the matter with us

I ask and find

we are stupid and mad

and the air cuts

like a knife

that’s how bad

things have got

and we are being

sliced to pieces

till the only thing left

of us in this world

is red masses of flesh

and oceans of blood.

I Can Hear The Sky

whispering to me

and it says

Dominic take

this day

in your hands

and I am bathed

with sunlight

that purifies

every pore

of my body

and makes

it warm

and magical

and I rise

into the air

with every

breath I take

and begin

to fly like a bird

singing in joy.

The Birds Make Music

going all the way

up to the sky

and the silence

of the mountains

is beautiful

and people here

are fun

the children talking

as they play

and there is that calm

that makes me

drown in the greenery

and turn to air

and light

in this blue firmament

vast and also white.

The Air Is So Nice

it takes me along

with it

and my mind

is instantly free

and flowing

in bliss

and my body

I almost

don’t feel

it is like

I am the sunlight

and now I am

awash with the sky

and I feel

the universe

tingling

and I shudder

in ecstasy.

The Earth Is Quiet

its peace

turns my mind

to air

and I fly

over the trees

the mountains

in bliss

though I return

home to sleep

in complete calm

and when I die

I will once again

be in the womb

of this planet

our mother

and I will be

born anew.

This Place Is So Sweet

I can hear the birds saying

to the sunlight

glowing golden

the air flows so smoothly

we breathe bliss

and all the human voices

say love

the houses are full of joy

they are happy to live

a door that closes

says hello

and the world is smiling

and we kiss its face.

I Can Smell Happiness

in the air

and its fragrance

so fine

stirs my heart

on the horizon

the world glows

golden

and life comes

running into

my arms

and I know

what love is.

I Want Peace I Want My Thoughts

to disappear

and be replaced

by air

then my mind

is massaged

till it is so quiet

I visit magical places

where my heart

feels such love

that in ecstasy

I join hands

with the universe

and we dance

in such delight

we are transported

to other realms

where we live

in such transcendence

such beauty

our forms change

again and again

and the impossible

becomes truth.
