I Touch The Sky

blue and cool

from these mountains

here

green under the golden sun

and cattle eat the grass

as birds chirp

and my neighbour’s TV drones

and this sweet little girl talks

as a scooter goes by

then there is the silence

of the valleys

and I am able to dive

all the way to the bottom

and see the water there

and drink it

and fall in love with the world

once again.

My Mind Bursts Like A Thundercloud

and I am all

water

and I feel

so happy

to be like this

flowing

so coolly

I am filled with

contentment

building

sensation

upon sensation

till I am

bliss.

The Birds Sound Like The River

today

their chirping

is pure water

rocking in beauty

transcending its

silver green and

golden light

it enters

my heart

making me run

across the universe

in ecstasy.

Other People Sometimes

stab me

in the head

and pierce

my brain

and I am

so badly

wounded

I fall down

on the ground

and thrash about

like a fish

out of water

till I am dead.

All The Happiness In The World Is Mine

how the sunlight

kisses me

how we make love

like lovers

and we are all

kings and queens

the way we are

fanned by the breeze

and the whole Earth

is ours all its land

all its water

and all its living beings

its people its animals

its vegetation

are our brothers

and sisters

and this is paradise.

I Am Water

on which

beautiful flowers

grow

and children

in boats row

I am cool and dark

I reflect the trees

and I am light

as I reflect the sky

and down

I am deep

and I feel

such solace

I am magic

and here above

I become

the laughter

of the kids

and transcend

myself in joy

and merge

with the cosmos

in flowing

ecstasy.

The Heart Shakes

all the time now

and the world

is nothing

but an earthquake

and everywhere

things are crumbling

and there is

so much waste

so much water

it flows into

our broken houses

into our mouths

and we drown.

My Heart Is Lit

like a street at night

and children prance

about singing

the drums beat

and everything

is vibrant

I am so happy

I feel my mind

is made of honey

my body of water

flowing

I tingle bubbling

in joy

I am nothing

but magic.

Thoughts Emerge From My Brain

like animals from

their holes

and walk about

in my mind

like in a forest

and to my

surprise today

they all amble

towards a

watering hole

and drink

till they are

content

and there is

peace as they

look around

at each other

and more

and more

animals come

and drink

the water

and my

thinking

is now

like air

freely flowing

like love.

The Skies Rain Fire

and the universe

is burning

people howl

like wild dogs

and run in flames

everywhere

and so many

jump into the water

and drown

and then

there is a loud

explosion

and blood

pours out of

my ears and

nose and mouth

and all is black

in my eyes

before I am gone

from this life.
