and my blood is stuck
I go out of this world
I eat nothingness
I piss absence
and my body is invisible
I have merged
with the atmosphere
gone into the sky
blended
with the darkening blues
the night begins
to forget
and the moon
comes out shining
and the stars sparkle
deep in the blackness.
floating in the wind
and we make such music
people have transcended themselves
and sleep in the sky singing along in joy
when they wake and the world is a happy place
our children safe and sound and we are touched
by this show of respect of love we dance and everyone
holds hands and jumps along and the Earth is thundering
with our feet our happiness and we embrace the moon
holding it close to our hearts and it feels so good
we are overwhelmed and we know what it is to be alive
and we lie down on the ground and kiss it in gratitude full of tears.
we live with the birds
and animals
and the trees
that sway in the breeze
and the sun is our father
the moon our mother
the stars our brothers
and sisters
and we fly all over the sky
and sing in joy with our children
and the oceans roar the fish dance
in the seas and make love
and the universe shudders in ecstasy.
the birds are mine
rather they are me
returning to myself
in the evening
and then this
green parrot
in the tree
before my house
climbs up
a thin branch
I look at its
small body
its red beak
as dusk falls
and I burst
into the moon
and stars.
all the time
and all of us
are hurt so badly
all of us are crazy
life is like
being stabbed
all the time
bleeding always
till blood is what
we see
ourselves as
and broken hearted
we yearn
for a better life
but we are killed
as we look
towards the sky
where the moon
smiles in peace.
how the sun
turned into
a weapon
against us
and broke
our hearts
how the moon
and stars
abandoned us
and ran
like we were
nothing to them
we died before
we were actually
killed
to see those
we loved
desert us
we could
not bear
and then
our home
the Earth
caught fire
and all of us
just burned
to death.
making love to the world
how the sky sings
and the wind kisses me
and I feel my body tingling
and I say life I love you
and the mountains
laugh in gladness
and as I feel
one with the universe
I shudder in ecstasy
and the cosmos
shakes too
and everything
glows bright
and when
I touch my face
I find it has
become the moon.
burning
and the visions
it brings me
are golden
life is magic
this flight
through
the dark sky
at night
and making love
to the moon
makes me silver
an endless river
in delight I quiver.
I am lost
and tired
and sick
I say
I can’t take
another step
I add gasping
and pass out
and when I wake
I find the moon
cradling me
in her arms
and raising
my head
to her breast
she says
drink son
with a smile
on her face
and hungrily
I drink her milk
and reply
thank you
thank you
mother.
and lay it down
on my lap
and my eyes
turn into stars
shining
my face is
the moon glowing
my body
is cool
spreading in
so many colours
and when
I become
the cosmos
love flows
in the universe.
