Calm Down

I tell myself

and close my eyes

and I slowly quieten

in the darkness

till there is total silence

and I am in my own womb

an embryo growing

and soon I feel

the universe’s embrace

and full of love

I am born again.

Rest My Heart

I say and

I am at peace

the universe

sleeping

like a baby

in my arms

and I am

so full of love

the cosmos

is soon lit

and laughing

and I am so happy

I begin to dance

and the world

dances with me

and there is

such perfection

in us

we disappear

in joy

together

into the

end of time.
